Blayney Chess Club has been providing quality service to the chess community since our founding in 2005. It is our mission to provide opportunities to participate in chess no matter what level you play at. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to be there for you when you want to play or receive advice, and to be involved in providing many opportunities to test yourself in friendly and competitive scenarios.

 

 

Facts

2009 will see the third running of the Blayney Open. A tournament that has become an enjoyable event for many.

We instigated the Central Western Interclub Challenge between Bathurst, Blayney, Dubbo and Katoomba Chess Clubs that is in its 2nd year. This provides opportunity for the region’s best players to play against each other in regular match play.

We actively support the efforts of Dubbo Chess Club in providing Junior tournaments where a number of Blayney Juniors successfully compete.
